1. What Next Step is — and is not

Next Step is an AI-assisted coaching tool for getting unstuck on hard things. It

is a self-help and productivity aid. It is not a substitute for professionaladvice. In particular, the app and its AI coach do not provide and are nota replacement for:

• Therapy, counseling, or any mental-health or medical care.
• Medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.
• Legal advice.
• Financial, investment, or tax advice.

If you are in crisis or may harm yourself or others, the app is not an emergency

service — contact local emergency services or a crisis line immediately. Always

seek a qualified professional for medical, legal, or financial decisions.

2. The AI coach

Coach replies are generated by an AI model and may be inaccurate, incomplete, or

not suitable for your situation. You are responsible for any decisions and

actions you take. Do not rely on the coach for anything where being wrong has

serious consequences without checking it against a qualified human source.
